Overview
Server Survival is a 3D simulation game in the style of tower defense, where you play a cloud architect. You build and scale infrastructure to handle rising traffic while facing DDoS attacks, a limited budget and service degradation. Each mechanic stands for a real cloud concept, so you learn by playing. It has Survival, Campaign and Sandbox modes, and the Sandbox lets you experiment with 26 services.
Key features
- Survival mode against growing traffic, DDoS spikes and random events
- Campaign of 25 levels across 5 chapters
- Sandbox with free budget and all 26 services
- Mechanics such as monitoring map to real cloud concepts
Best for
Students and engineers who want to learn cloud architecture and scaling in a game, rather than from documentation.
