Overview
terminal-browser is a web browser that runs inside your terminal. It lets you and a coding agent look at and interact with web pages in the same terminal tab, for example by opening a page in a split pane next to the agent. It can send its network requests through a remote server over SSH, so you can preview sites running on remote machines. A Claude Code plugin is available, and the command line offers an agent-browser compatible interface for agents.
Key features
- Runs a real browser inside the terminal
- Opens pages in a split pane beside your agent
- Works over SSH, sending requests through a remote server
- Agent-browser compatible CLI for agent control
- Installs with curl script, Homebrew or Claude Code plugin
Best for
Developers who work with coding agents in the terminal and want to preview pages, HTML plans or remote sites without leaving that window.
