Overview
Greenlight is a command line scanner written in Go that checks a mobile app against Apple App Store and Google Play review rules before you submit. It reads source code, privacy manifests, Android manifests, Gradle builds and IPA binaries, and each finding cites the rule it comes from. It runs offline with no account. An optional verify command runs key flows on a cloud device through a separate service.
Key features
- Scans code, privacy and Android manifests, and IPA files
- Every finding cites the guideline it comes from
- Runs offline with no account or uploads
- Can fail a CI build with the exit-code flag
- Optional verify step tests flows on a cloud device
Best for
Mobile teams who want to catch likely store rejections early, locally and in CI. The verify tier needs a free account with a third-party service.
