Overview
Kitter is a lightweight desktop app and command-line tool, written in Rust with GPUI, for managing Agent Skills across projects. You keep skills in one library and choose which ones each project uses, and Kitter installs them as managed links instead of separate copies, so updates happen in one place. Skills can be added from a local folder, GitHub, a skills.sh-compatible source or a Claude plugin source. Packages exist for macOS, Windows and Linux.
Key features
- One library of skills shared by many projects
- Installs managed links, not independent copies
- Adds skills from folders, GitHub, skills.sh sources or Claude plugins
- Shows which projects and agents use each skill
- Desktop app and standalone CLI for macOS, Windows, Linux
Best for
People who use Agent Skills in several projects and want to avoid duplicate copies drifting apart. The macOS build is not yet signed with an Apple Developer ID, so first launch needs approval.
