Overview
chrome-cdp lets an AI agent see and interact with the Chrome session you already have open, using the Chrome DevTools Protocol. Instead of launching a fresh, isolated browser, it connects to your running one, so the agent can work with tabs you have open and accounts you are logged into. You enable remote debugging with one toggle in Chrome.
Key features
- Connects to your live Chrome, not a new instance
- Uses your logged-in tabs and current page state
- Detects Chrome, Chromium, Brave, Edge and Vivaldi
- Needs only Node.js 22 or newer, no npm install
Best for
People who want an agent to work inside pages they are already logged into. It installs as a pi skill or can be copied into other agents' skill folders.
